35th Annual Kids Trout Derby

Lions Lake in Grass Valley, CA
This event is sponsored by the GVSC and local area sponsors for children under 12. We provide free bait, a free soft drink and a free hot dog to each child who registers for the event. We stock the lake with thousands of pounds of trout prior to the event courtesy of the Department of Fish and Game. The GVSC and the Fish and Wildlife Commission jointly pay for planting additional trophy sized fish. We want the kids to have a great time with their families, and they do!
