- 40th Annual Kids Trout Derby
The 40th Annual Kids Trout Derby will be held April 21st, 2012 at Lions Lake at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, CA. Children 3-12 are eligible to fish, but everyone is invited to enjoy the day as a family.
Every child that wishes to participate and be eligible for prizes must sign up. Derby signup starts at 8 AM. Fishing will begin promptly at 10 AM and continue until 2 PM. Weigh-in will be during fishing hours and continue until all fish are recorded. When weigh–in is finished, then prizes will be awarded.
Good Luck to everyone. Please respect your neighbors and have a good time. Remember, it's all about the kids.
- July 27: 38th Annual McNally Steak BBQ
The 38th Annual Mac McNally Steak BBQ will be held on July 27th at the Nevada County Fairgrounds near the Loadin' Chute. Bar opens 6, Dinner and Dancing from 7-11PM with the band Dyin' Breed. For tickets and information please contact us.
